My blindness correction -----under construction------

Hey okay so I know I'm behind on updating but here's the thing. I've been in glasses since 4th grade....well I was for a week but switched over to contacts and never got a back up pair of glasses as life went on. Well the other day my eye just suddenly started burning and so I thankfully keep a case and solution in my truck as well as a spare pair of lens.....to say the least even the new pair didn't help my eye.
Went to the eye doctor and apparently you aren't suppose to wear your contacts for more than 8 hours at a time. Nobody had ever told me that!!! So my eye has been drying out and scratching my eye this entire time!
Kinda irritates me. Ugh. So that's why I haven't updates lately. I'm going to get a new prescription today since I need an annual eye exam anyway so I can go get my frames lens put in. I kinda like these glasses. I'll post pictures later today and will get back on top of posting!

Ciao!!!

Reviews, Tutorials...

Hey guys, so I'm thinking about working on getting a better webcam because the one that came with my computer isn't that great to say the least. So that way when I do I can add videos onto here as well as my YouTube channel and you wont have to read so much unless you choose to. But I had a question....

What do you all want to read about? What products do you want a review on or what kind of tutorials do you want? Comment and let me know and I'll get to work on it. Too scared to buy a product in case it doesn't work like you want? Let me know and I'll do my best to get my hands on it or find something similar to it and let you know if it's a must have or a must not.

So comment, leave me some feedback and what YOU want to see. This blog is for you after all :)

One 'n Only Argan Oil Curl Cream is a breakthrough styling product created to enhance and define curly hair. One 'n Only Argan Oil Curl Cream is a leave-in conditioning cream that defines and enhances curly hair, delivering added texture and hold, and leaves curls bouncy. Eliminates frizz and is humidity resistant. Provides instant hydration without sticky residue. Enhances shine and provides color protection

INSTRUCTIONS-Apply to clean, damp hair. Distribute evenly. Allow to dry naturally or use a diffuser to create more volume.

I found this at Sally's Beauty Supply yesterday and decided after reading a few reviews I would give it a try. I already LOVED One n Only's Argan Oil treatment and thought I would give this product a try. Just like the Oil treatment it smells like vanilla and very clean. It was a lot cheaper compared to it's competitor Moroccan Oil.
I washed my hair added about a dime size of the Argan Oil treatment to my hair before letting it sit in the towel for about 15 minutes. Then i combed my hair out with my fingers and added about 3 pumps of the Curl Cream into my hair, coating it and scrunching I went. As I was scrunching it, it didn't seem to be doing anything but weighing my hair down a bit and barely adding any curl. I was a little disappointed as I wanted to try to let my hair naturally dry. So just in case I took my blow dryer to it and dried my hair upside down and kept scrunching. The more my hair dried the curlier it got. Put then all of a sudden the left side of my real hair fell kinda flat. Just that side, so I'm wondering if I didn't put enough product there or if I managed to get any there at all. So I just added a bit of Dream Curls to it and kept drying. Sure enough the hair looks just like the rest, except I had to put a little teasing at the roots so not to create a triangle shape on one side of my head.

Because my hair is so thick I had to pin my bangs back because it created too much volume. I've had the curls in my hair for about 3 hours now and they haven't fallen at all. My hair isn't crunchy, or wet looking (except where it is still a bit damp on the ends), smells really good. It's kind of like a vanilla scent. and looks shiny and healthy.

I really like this product and will probably continue to use it unless it continues to make my hair go flat after I dry it for so long. ( I'll let you know how that goes). I would recommend it to people but warn them that it is a thick cream and could weigh down your hair if it is really thin. I'll have my friend Jeannie try it on her hair so I can see how it affects thin hair.

Frizz Ease- Dream Curls

Hey guys so I'm starting this new blog because I LOOOOVE hair and beauty products. Now last summer I cut all my hair off.......and well...I absolutely hated it! so I had my extensions sewn in and my hair is about 2.5 feet long. my extensions were 18 inches (color #7 and 100% human hair) now before I hear about how I shouldn't be using human hair because it could go to Lock for Love, this hair was chemically treated before and could not be donated, but the company my hair dresser orders it from sells the hair and gives half the proceeds to Locks for Love.

I have naturally  curly hair but after years of straightening and blow drying my hair is sooooo damaged it wont curl on its own anymore. I have been trying numerous numbers of curly serums and products in order to try the "scrunching" technique. I have found several products that work but give you that wet look or crunchy feel. Which in my opinion is not attractive or wanted at all.  Well I had a friend tell me about a product by Frizz Ease called Dream Curls. This product is about 4-5 dollars and can be found at your local walmart or drug store like CVS or Walgreen's. It's 6.7Fl oz and comes in a spray bottle.  This is what they call Step 4 of their 5 step products.

WHAT IT CLAIMS-Step 4: Style Curly. Transforms wilted waves & curls into sexy swerves, curves & spirals. Alcohol-free formula leaves hair super-silky, never crispy. Breakthrough Curl Perfecter transforms wilted waves and curls - just spray and scrunch for the curls of your dreams - sexy, highly-defined swirls and curls that are soft and silky, never crispy. Innovative Magnesium-enriched formula penetrates hair to restore elasticity and spring, boosting and enhancing your natural curl pattern. Special conditioning and glossing agents help leave hair frizz-free and glistening with healthy-looking shine. Non-greasy, non-sticky, alcohol-free formula.

When I used this I had just washed my hair and let it sit in a towel for about 15 minutes to absorb some of the moisture. I then detangled my hair with my fingers and sprayed in a heat defender. I then COVERED my hair in the Dream Curls making sure to get it all over. I then held my head upside down while I blow dried it. I use a type of attachment that controls where the air blows but again this is not a diffuser which I would recommend to use instead I just cant find one that fits my dryer.  Make sure your dry your hair completely. You can also let your hair just air dry, just make sure your scrunch it first.

When I was done my hair was voluminous and full of curls. Because of time and the way my extensions are put in I had failed to dry my roots completely. This did cause my hair to frizz and loose the curl a bit so again DRY YOUR HAIR COMPLETELY!! I slept with my hair pulled in a low bun on the side of my head last night and when i woke up my curls were still in place. I did however add a little water to my hair and re-scrunch and air dry my hair though just to give it a fresh look. My hair did not end up crunchy and the smell of the product did not stay in my hair.
All in all I would recommend this product but would add a humidity control product to it such as garnier fruties sleek and shine cream.

I will post pictures soon. I had to do this in Books A Million because the internet is down at my house. I also will try to do a new review at least once a week.  Thanks for reading! Let me know how this product works for you. Email me at Kfree1992@yahoo.com or find me on facebook Kelby LeeAnne
